Streamwood blows out Larkin

History is in the making for the Streamwood girls basketball team.

Deja Moore scored 16 points and Hannah McGlone added 15 as the Sabres beat Larkin 62-27 Thursday night in an Upstate Eight Conference River Division game at Larkin.

The Sabres (18-6, 9-2) can secure at least a share of the River title on Saturday afternoon when they host Batavia at 2:30 p.m. The conference title would be Streamwood's first since 1987-88.

Jessica Cerda added 8 points for the Sabres in Thursday's win, while Rachael Martinez led Larkin (3-23, 1-11) with 10 points.
