Prospective students and their families are invited to the campus of Judson University, 1151 N. State St. in Elgin, for an overnight preview day on Sunday, Jan. 20, and Monday, Jan. 21, and an Academic Preview Night on Thursday, Jan. 29.

The opportunity will give students the chance to spend a night in one of the dorms and envision themselves as Judson students.

The Jan. 20-21 overnight preview day will include informational sessions about separate program areas and financial aid opportunities, as well as a campus tour. Visitors also will have the opportunity talk with current staff, faculty and students, attend chapel, dine in the cafeteria and experience classes in their intended majors.

The Jan. 29 academic preview night will begin at 6 p.m. in the Betty Lindner Campus Commons and will include a dinner for all attendees, informational sessions about separate program areas and financial aid opportunities, as well as a campus tour.

Judson University is a fully accredited, private Christian university of the liberal arts, sciences and professions. Among more than 60 majors, minors and 10 pre-professional programs, Judson offers degrees in architecture, art and design, communication arts, business, education, Christian ministries, biblical and theological studies, worship arts, music, history and intercultural studies, exercise and sport sciences, psychology and sociology, and math and sciences. The school offers a wide variety of extracurricular activities with musical and theater ensembles, 18 intercollegiate sports, student government organizations, and several ministry opportunities locally and abroad.

The university also provides masters programs in architecture, organizational leadership, education in literacy, and education with an ESL/bilingual endorsement. Judson also offers baccalaureate degrees for adult professionals in the areas of communications management, criminal justice management, human resource management, human services, and management and leadership.
