Library Offers Creative Writing Workshop for Kids
"Left of Write," a unique writing workshop for children ages 8 to 12, will be held from 4-5 p.m., Thursdays, Jan. 8 through 29, in the kidsZone Classroom of the Schaumburg Township District Library (STDL), 130 S. Roselle Rd., Schaumburg. Participants will discover a new appreciation for multicultural books and learn how to craft a creative short story. Author and children's literature enthusiast Ranjini Rao will teach students various writing styles and techniques, including various forms of poetry and genres of writing."
