Because the Barrington Area Library is undergoing renovation in the next year, the Friends will not hold any book sales for an indefinite period after the October sale. They will also not be able to accept book donations after Oct. 12, as space will be limited. For a list of organizations that will accept donations, check the library website at or ask at the library's hospitality desk.
