Petite Lake Road will be closed to through traffic from Route 83/Milwaukee Avenue to Fairfield Road in the Volo area for 66 days beginning the morning of Monday, June 25 to about Aug. 29. The closure is needed to allow contractors, to realign Petite Lake Road from its present location to a new intersection and alignment, north of the wetlands. The detour for the closure will be Fairfield Road to Route 132/Grand Avenue, to Route 83/Milwaukee Avenue. Visit www.lakecountyil.gov/transportation.
