Advocacy group for seniors seek input at Palatine meeting

AgeOptions, a nonprofit organization that plans, coordinates, advocates and fund services for suburban Cook County residents ages 60 and older, will hold a series of public hearings seeking input on programs and services for older adults and their families.

One hearing will take place from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. Thursday, May 31, at the Palatine Township Senior Citizens Council, 505 S. Quentin, Palatine. The others will be in Cicero and Oak Forest.

The group will share a proposed update to its Area Plan on Aging and provide other information on community-based services for older adults and caregivers. For more information, visit ageoptions.org or contact Kim Blechschmidt at (708) 383-0258 or kim.blechschmidt@ageoptions.org.
