For the second time this month, a national magazine has named Stevenson High School as one of the best high schools in America, school officials announced Tuesday. Newsweek announced its rankings this week and lists Stevenson as the top open-enrollment high school in Illinois. It also lists Stevenson 153rd overall in the country. Newsweek examined data from more than 2,300 schools to produce its list. U.S. News and World Report included Stevenson among its list of the nation's top high schools recently, too.
