Palatine Township, Lions club to host recycling event on May 19
Palatine Township and the Palatine Lions club will host a free electronics recycling event from 7:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, May 19, at the township parking lot, 721 S. Quentin Road, Palatine. The event is open to both businesses and individuals, and there is no limit. Computer hard drives will be wiped clean. No hazardous materials, batteries, light bulbs, white goods or paint will be accepted. The Lions also are seeking used eyeglasses and hearing aids, inkjet cartridges and cell phones.
