Burger Challenge for charity

A culinary creation called the Heart Attack Burger was the big winner at the second Burger Challenge held last week at Tom and Eddie’s restaurant in Vernon Hills. About $200 was raised for the March of Dimes through the event, for which Stevenson High School students in Introduction to Business classes came up with three types of burgers. It was a lesson in product development, school officials said. The Heart Attack Burger will be featured on the Tom and Eddie’s menu for one month.
