Love story told through letters plays out onstage in Yorkville

Fox Country Players will present “Love Letters” by A. R. Gurney on April 20-22 at 129 Commercial Drive, Yorkville. Linda Miller of Elburn and Rich LeCropane of Oswego will portray two star-crossed lovers whose lives remain connected through a lifetime of letters.

A ticket to “Love Letters” will include a buffet dinner, catered by Cobblestone Bakery; the full menu is available at foxcountryplayers.org. A cash bar will be available during the cocktail hour, dinner will be served at St. Joseph Cabinetry and then “Love Letters” will commence next door at the Community Christian Church. Sugar Shindigs will provide dessert and coffee at intermission.

This dinner-theater production will be presented one weekend only. On Friday and Saturday, cocktails will begin at 6 p.m., dinner at 7 p.m. and the show begins at 8 p.m. On Sunday, the doors will open at noon, dinner will be served at 1 p.m. with the show to follow at 2 p.m.

All seats are reserved and will be assigned on a first-come, first-served basis. The order deadline is Monday, April 16.
