Junior guard John Moss came off the bench to score 20 points as Bartlett snapped a 3-game skid with a 56-45 Upstate Eight Valley victory at East Aurora Friday.

Moss sank five 3-pointers and the Hawks connected on 10 shots from beyond the arc as a team to improve to 5-2, 1-2. Senior guard Matt Chaltin finished with 14 points and senior Jon Leigeber added 10. East Aurora slipped to 0-8, 0-3.

"It's nice to get a win after three losses in the conference," said Bartlett coach Jim Wolfsmith, whose team had dropped consecutive decisions against Larkin, Metea Valley and Neuqua Valley. "We still had too many turnovers, but when we shoot the ball well like we did tonight it makes up for myriad issues.

"Moss came off the bench with a ton of confidence from the get go. I hope we can build off it."
