The Palatine Public Library District invites patrons of the new North Hoffman branch to drop in and rediscover their neighborhood library Monday, Dec. 5, to Saturday, Dec. 10. Fun giveaways and contests for all district cardholders are planned throughout the week. Adults who check out materials will be entered into a drawing for a chance to win an e-reader. The branch is now located in the Willow Recreation Center, 3600 Lexington Drive, Hoffman Estates. Hours are 11 a.m. to 7 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturdays. Library district officials moved the Hoffman Estates branch from Freeman Road after the building it leased went into foreclosure.
