Bilingual storyteller at library in E. Dundee

In honor of Hispanic Heritage month, the Dundee Township Public Library will welcome back bilingual storyteller Kay Weeden for the “¡Say Ole! Storytime” at 7 p.m. Monday, Sept. 26 at the library, 555 Barrington Ave. (Route 68) in East Dundee.

Weeden will entertain and engage the whole family with stories and activities that could “make tortillas dance.” Prepare to bring the tales to life by singing, chanting, clapping and dancing. No reservations are required for this free program.

Video game collection: The Dundee Township Public Library has added video games for Xbox 360 and Nintendo DS gaming systems to its collection, which until now only offered Wii games. A total of two video games can be checked out per library card. The load period is seven days, with no reserves or renewals. To browse the collection, visit the library#146;s online catalog at www.dundeelibrary.info and search for #147;video games.#148; You can narrow your search by asking for #147;Xbox 360 video games,#148; for example. The games can be found on the main level of the library near the Information Services Desk. The Dundee Township Public Library serves residents of Carpentersville, East Dundee, West Dundee, Sleepy Hollow, Gilberts, and parts of Algonquin.
