Dundee library has facts on foreclosure

Submitted by Dundee Township Public Library

Avoid costly and time-consuming misinformation about foreclosure and get the facts at a free, one-hour seminar Saturday, June 11, at the Dundee Township Public Library, 555 Barrington Ave., East Dundee.

The program will be presented in both English and Spanish at 2 p.m. and again Monday, June 20, at 7 p.m.

An attorney from Administer Justice, an Elgin-based charitable organization that provides legal, educational, financial and conflict resolution services to low-income individuals, will provide information about the foreclosure process, explain the complicated terms and letters received by a lender and review the various options available.

A representative will be available after the presentation to consult with individuals about their personal circumstances. Attendees are encouraged to bring any paperwork they have received from their lender.

Reservation are recommended. To reserve a seat, visit the “Events & Registration” page at dundeelibrary.info; call (847) 428-3661, ext. 308; or stop by the Information Services desk at the library.
