Wheeling's Reinhart again faces elimination tonight on 'Idol'

Haley Reinhart heard lots of praise from the judges for her take on Carole King's “Beautiful” on Wednesday.

Problem is, the other five “American Idol” contestants heard the same praise, so whether voters will keep the Wheeling native around is anyone's guess.

“I heard God in your voice,” said Steven Tyler to a smiling Reinhart after her performance. “You nailed it.”

Randy Jackson didn't love the beginning of the song, but came around at the end. Jennifer Lopez called Reinhart's rendition “beautiful.”

“You have one of the best voices in this competition,” Lopez said.

Reinhart seemed to take it all in stride. She'd already sung “I Feel the Earth Move” in a duet with rumored boyfriend Casey Abrams before taking on “Beautiful” by herself.

In between she underwent a wardrobe change and survived a faulty earpiece that producers fixed seconds before her background singers started up.

Also, about that duet. We get it. Haley and Casey are an item.

Even though it wasn't Reinhart's official performance of the night, she and Casey strutted all over the stage and around the judges table like they'd been singing the King tune in clubs and lounges for years.

After the duet, Tyler couldn't help himself.

“How much in love with Haley are you?” he said to Abrams. “Come on, it showed.”

Then Seacrest repeated “Haley and Casey,” a couple times for extra measure before the commercial break.

Sure, they're a cute couple, but someone is going home tonight at 7 p.m. on Fox. And with only six singers left, Reinhart has a pretty good chance of landing in the bottom three again.

American Idol also announced their summer tour dates. The season's final 11 singers — including Reinhart — will take the stage at the Allstate Arena in Rosemont Aug. 6. Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. May 13.
