Playing for the first time since winning the Mundelein tournament 13 days ago, Libertyville's undefeated girls basketball team picked up where it left off.

The Wildcats ran their record to 16-0 overall and 6-0 in the North Suburban Lake Division with a 49-8 win over visiting Lake Forest on Wednesday night.

It was the second time this season that Libertyville held an opponent to single digits. The Wildcats defeated Belvidere 67-7 in the Mundelein tournament last month.

Libertyville featured 11 scorers, none in double figures. Olivia Wilcox led the Wildcats with 9 points, while Savannah Trees and Kaca Savatic each had eight.

Libertyville held Lake Forest scoreless in the first and third quarters.
