&bul; Police sent drug-sniffing dogs through three schools last month, but did not find any drugs, according to a police report. The report says police searched Hampshire and Geneva high schools, and Marmion Academy in Aurora last Friday.

&bul; An iPod Classic and an FM transmitter cord were reported stolen Sunday from an unlocked 2000 Kia Sephia on the 0S100 block of Rowe Road in Blackberry Township, police said. The loss was estimated at $270.

&bul; A tan leather purse containing $100 and several credit cards was reported stolen Saturday from a 2005 Ford Explorer at Fitchie Creek Forest Preserve, 3021 Settlers Parkway, near Elgin. Police said a passenger-side window had been broken.

&bul; A white garbage bag containing a wallet, a cell phone and clothes was reported stolen Friday on the 40W900 block of Dillonfield Drive, near La Fox, police said. The loss was estimated at $380.

&bul; A black 1995 Jeep Grand Cherokee was reported stolen Friday from a driveway on the 38W200 block of Glenwood Drive, near Batavia, police said.

&bul; Five movies, two Play Station 2 game controllers and a plunger were reported stolen Thursday on the 6N500 block of Illinois Street, near St. Charles, police said. According to a police report, the owner told police her family loaned the items to a neighbor only to find some of them at a pawnshop later.

&bul; Twenty-four Big Foot geese decoys and 12 Real Geese silhouettes were among items reported stolen Sunday from a field on the 36W800 block of Big Timber Road, near Elgin, police said. The loss was estimated at $1,000.

&bul; A blue 2004 PT Cruiser was reported stolen Sunday from an attached garage on the 5N300 block of Fence Rail Court, near St. Charles, police said. The owner told police the garage door was left open with the keys in the ignition of the car. The vehicle was later found crashed into a tree at a forest preserve in the area of Illinois Street and Courier Avenue, near St. Charles, according to a police report.

&bul; A mailbox was reported damaged Monday on the 3N200 block of East Main Street, near St. Charles, police said. Police said it appeared a pumpkin was thrown at the mailbox, damaging its door and hinge. Other pumpkins were found smashed in the area, according to a police report.

&bul; A Dell computer was reported stolen Monday from an unlocked Chevrolet Express van parked in the area of Mare Court and Beith Road, near Elburn, police said.

&bul; A Garmin GPS was reported stolen Tuesday from an unlocked Chevy Silverado on the 0S600 block of Brannon Lane, near Geneva, police said.
