Earth Week cleanupThe Naperville Park District is seeking volunteers to celebrate Earth Week by working in selected parks picking up litter, planting trees and removing weed and fallen twigs. Register as a team, with one captain and four bowlers, or as an individual. Each bowler commits to raise $150 in donations, or $750 per team. The fee includes three games, all-you-can-eat pizza, T-shirt, prizes for highest donations and scores, and a raffle. For reservations, call (630) 682-3846, ext. 242.Dist. 2 teachers performBensenville Elementary School District 2 presents a faculty recital from 6 to 7 p.m. Friday, April 16 at Blackhawk Middle School, 250 S. Church Road. Eight teachers will perform as soloists and with ensembles. Music styles featured include classical, pop, rock, opera and jazz. Tickets are available at the door and cost $3, or $2 for students, faculty and seniors. Proceeds benefit Bensenville Fine Arts Program.
