  • Dog hurt, house damaged in Streamwood fire Oct 1, 2014 10:55 PM
    A dog was seriously injured Wednesday afternooon in a Streamwood house fire, fire officials said. Streamwood Fire Department responded to the fire in a single-family home just after 4 p.m. on the 1700 block of McKool Avenue. The blaze started in a lower-level bedroom and spread up the side of the building, causing extensive smoke damage, firefighters said in a news release.

Schneider, will partner with the Cook County Department of Animal and Rabies Control and Board of Cook County Commissioners President Toni Preckwinkle on October 15, 2013 to provide low-cost rabies vaccines and microchips for dogs, cats, and ferrets for Cook County residents.
