The kick-off of the year-long celebration commemorating the Wheeling Park District 50th Anniversary takes place from noon to 4 p.m. Sunday, Jan. 16 at the Community Recreation Center, 333 W. Dundee Road, Wheeling. The free community event will feature food, games, and activities for all ages.
