  • Fremont library’s annaul gingerbread village to be raffled off for fundraiser Dec 4, 2014 4:04 PM
    For four years, Claude Bouteille, owner/chef of Taste of Paris bakery and café, has created a gingerbread village that is displayed inside the front doors of the Fremont Public Library in Mundelein. This year’s display includes a church, the Mundelein Metra station, a log cabin made of pretzels, and the ice palace from the movie “Frozen.” Bouteille does most of the work, but gets some assistance from his staff.
