This week, the Buffalo Grove village board said goodbye to Molinaro, who has retired from his position running the Buffalo Grove and Arboretum golf courses for 39 years.   The Buffalo Grove Park District has contracted to buy the Congregation Beth Am property at 225 McHenry Road for redevelopment as a community performing arts center. The property, which currently houses the congregation and the Torah Academy school, was on the market and caught the park district's eye.   The Buffalo Grove Park District plans to spend $788,000 next year to rebuild Kilmer Park after getting a state grant to cover half that cost. "We are very excited about receiving this grant, which will enable us to dramatically improve Kilmer Park," the district's executive director, Dan Schimmel, said in a news release.
