First Bank of Highland Park Named Among the Top 100 Crain's Chicago Business 2018 Best Places to Work

First Bank of Highland Park (FBHP), one of the five largest privately held banks in Chicago, has been named by Crain's Chicago Business as one of the 2018 Best Places to Work in Chicago. The top 100 ranking recognizes that FBHP creates a positive environment that fosters teamwork, growth, respect, and strives to assure that all employees are valued and appreciated.

"We're honored to be recognized by Crain's, especially because this distinction is a result of survey responses from our own personnel," says Eric Ephraim, President/COO at First Bank of Highland Park. "We focus on treating people well, whether they are clients or employees. It's a nice way to live and work."

Determining the 2018 Best Places to Work in Chicago involved a two-step process which consisted of evaluating each participating company's workplace policies, practices, and demographics along with employees completing an anonymous survey. Businesses on the list represent a variety of industries throughout the Chicagoland area, from banking to software to real estate.

"This is the first time First Bank of Highland Park was nominated and it is very exciting to be ranked 44 out of 100 businesses on the list," says Nicole DiVito, Human Resources Officer/Talent Management. "This is an exciting time for the bank as we continue to grow and hire more staff."

As of March 31, 2018, First Bank of Highland Park has over $1.7 billion in assets and more than 115 employees. FBHP serves all of Chicagoland from its offices in Highland Park and Northbrook with a growth strategy that includes future branch locations in Skokie and Chicago.
