Get your kicks at Schaumburg Park District soccer class
Score a goal with spring soccer!
Classes are available in April at the Community Recreation Center, 505 N. Springinsguth Road, The Sport Center, 1141 W. Irving Park Road and Schaumburg Tennis Plus, 1416 N. Payne Road.
Available to children ages 3 to 6, Junior Soccer teaches children fundamentals of the sport by using fun games and association techniques designed to get down to the players' level. The District also offers Kiddy Kickers Soccer for ages 4 to 9.
"We will learn basic foot skills, including dribbling, passing, shooting and spreading the field," said Derek Radek, athletics supervisor. "We also will focus on teamwork."
Shin guards are recommended.
