Wealth management advisor John Roland expands business

The year is off to a great start for Northwestern Mutual Wealth Management Advisor John P. Roland, CLU, CFP and his team. In addition to being recognized by the Chicago-based financial planning firm as a leader in helping clients plan for and achieve their life goals, he recently expanded his practice with a move to new offices in Oak Brook.

"In a market like Chicago, the suburbs provide a great opportunity to expand our footprint," said Roland. "Also, our team members have personal connections to the western suburbs allowing us to foster existing relationships and develop new ones."

While the move to the Oak Brook office at 2015 Spring Road will provide a convenient location and extended hours for suburban clients, the business will retain a strong presence in the Chicago market at the firm's network office located at One North Wacker in downtown Chicago.

Roland started his career in the Chicago office as an advisor in the firm's internship program in 1998. After graduating from the University of Chicago, he joined the firm full-time. Staying true to the values of authenticity, integrity and professionalism, over the past 20 years he has built a successful comprehensive financial planning business. He attributes a large part of that success to a top-level and credentialed team of financial professionals who provide clients with a broader depth of expertise and high-touch service.

In addition to Roland, his team members include: Elsa Garcia, Director of Operations; Colleen Castro, Director of Insurance Operations and Services; Jacob Roland, Director of Investment Operations; Natalie S Vahary, Associate Wealth Management Advisor; Lindsey Daehnke, Director of Marketing and Communications; and Daniel J Studebaker, Director of Client Development.
