Joseph Vito, an attorney at Lavelle Law and a Wheeling resident, has been appointed as the President of the Wheeling-Prospect Heights Chamber of Commerce. Vito and other members of the new Executive Board were sworn in at the Installation Dinner on January 19th.

Vito, who served as the VP of the Chamber of Commerce last year, said that he looks forward to the challenge of his new role. "I'm grateful for the opportunity to lead the chamber and help realize our vision of being a positive influence on the business community," says Vito. "I am also thankful for the support of my colleagues at Lavelle Law, where this type of community involvement is so strongly encouraged."

Lavelle Law Managing Partner, Ted McGinn, supports Vito and other attorneys at the firm in their community involvement endeavors. "Serving on local boards or volunteering for not-for-profit organizations and professional groups has always been a big part of the culture at Lavelle Law. It's important that our attorneys are active in their communities because we have a responsibility to share our skills and knowledge. I have no doubt that Joe will lead the Wheeling-Prospect Heights Chamber of Commerce with great success."
