Schaumburg Park District presents The Music Man

Grab a seat and enjoy all American classic, The Music Man, presented by Putting on Productions.

The Broadway-hit musical will be performed July 14-16 at the Community Recreation Center,

505 N. Springinsguth Road.

"The cast is very talented and are excited to bring the characters of con man Harold Hill and love-interest Marian the librarian to life for the audience," said Beth Waller, cultural arts supervisor. "The musical, set in the early 20th century, features nostalgic marches, barbershop quartets and sentimental ballads. It's truly a great show for families."

Upcoming show times include:

• 7 p.m. Friday, July 14

• 6 p.m. Saturday, July 15

* for an additional cost, dinner tickets may be purchased

• 2 p.m. Sunday, July 16

Cost for tickets is $12 for ages 13 years and older and $8 for children 12 years and younger. Admission is free to children 2 years and younger if being held. The Music Man Dinner tickets are available on Saturday, July 15, cost is $25 for residents and $45 for non-residents.
