Wego Drama presents 24-Hour Play Festival

Wego Drama at West Chicago Community High School concludes its 2016-17 season with the 24-Hour Play Festival. Now in its third year, the students create an original show full of wit and emotion and perform it - all in 24 hours.

"I'm thrilled to have the experience to put it together in a day," writer and director Megan Graal said. "It is exciting to do it all in a day."

The show, quickly becoming a highlight of the season, will be performed this year at 7 p.m. Saturday, May 20, at West Chicago Community High School, 326 Joliet St., West Chicago.

"It is a great show," director Rick Gieser said. "I think we will have a blast."

Writer Ken Correa agrees.

"I am so excited to be able to do something new and different," he said. "It simply is a great night."

The company includes Abby Carr, Kenneth Correa, Dylan Davidson, Andres Espinoza and Ricky Geiser from Carol Stream; Grecia Bahena, Emily Carroso, Ryan Castiglia, Ambur Dotson, Alexia Goutanis, Megan Graal, Megan Kordik, Noemi Lara, Garrett Martin, Evy McLean, Nayeli Miguel, Rachel O'Donnell, Neve Ryan, Alex Salinas, Alex Weaver, Nora Zamora and Noah Zieche from West Chicago; and David Brown, Grace Giambrone, Natalie Thompson and Joy Vogt from Winfield.
