Bond reduced for Hoffman Estates teen charged in Schaumburg shopping center shooting

A Hoffman Estates teen charged with aggravated discharge of a firearm in a shooting last month at a Schaumburg strip mall parking lot had his bail reduced Monday.
A judge at Chicago's Leighton Criminal Court Building set bail at $750,000 Saturday for Jacob M. Taylor, 19. Taylor turned himself in to Schaumburg police last Friday, authorities said.
During Taylor's appearance Monday at the Rolling Meadows courthouse, a second judge set bail at $150,000.
A 26-year-old man was shot at about 11:44 a.m. Sept. 8 in the 2300 block of West Bode Road following a dispute between him and Taylor, according to authorities.
If convicted, Taylor faces up to 15 years in prison. Probation is also an option.
He next appears in court on Nov. 7.
