There will be more than 30 different classes for cars, trucks and motorcycles. Also included is the “best of the best,” which features car show winners throughout Illinois competing for the prestigious Lions Award. They are making up a batch of some great chili free to car show entrants while it lasts.

New for this year will be a Remote Control Car Competition hosted by HobbyTown.

The pumpkin-decorating contest is available for the sixth year for all ages. Participants will be able to decorate a pumpkin at Lions Park between 9 and 11:30 a.m., or bring a pre-decorated pumpkin. Pumpkins judging will begin at noon.

Food will be available all day long including doughnuts and coffee available for purchase in the morning and hot dogs, hamburgers, steak sandwich and pork tenderloin, along with sides, such as french fries and onion rings.
