Crystal Lake practitioner accused of inappropriately touching patient

A Crystal Lake practitioner has been charged with battery after a report that he inappropriately touched a patient undergoing treatment in September, according to police.

The victim told officers Michael Lim, 39, of the 1300 block Almaden Lane in Gurnee, placed his hands on her bare breasts during a Sept. 26 appointment at Advanced Pain Rehab, police said.

An arrest warrant was obtained for Lim on Nov. 16 for one charge of battery. Lim turned himself in the same day. He was released from custody after posting $1,500 bond.

His next court date is 8:30 a.m. Nov. 28 at the McHenry County courthouse.
