FBI investigating bank robberies in Schaumburg, Streamwood

The FBI is searching for a man responsible for a pair of bank robberies that occurred within 45 minutes Sunday at TCF Bank locations inside Jewel-Osco stores in Schaumburg and Streamwood.

The first occurred about 11:05 a.m. at the TCF Bank at 2501 W. Schaumburg Road in Schaumburg, according to the FBI. The second occurred at about 11:49 a.m. at 217 E. Irving Park Road in Streamwood.

The suspect is described as a 25- to 30-year-old Hispanic man, about 5 feet, 3 inches tall and weighing 200 pounds, with black hair, brown eyes and facial hair, according to the FBI. He wore a black and gray "DC hat," glasses, tan shorts and a flannel shirt with a hooded sweatshirt.

The FBI is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to the man's arrest.
