Show where you stand; don't enable racism

I served in the U. S. Air Force from '67 to '71. May of '68 I was sent to Pope AFB, NC. The base served Ft. Bragg. At the time Ft. Bragg was processing troops whose next stop would be Vietnam. Many of these troops were minorities.

As the bus pulled on to Ft. Bragg, there was a billboard. It featured a man in a white sheet, with a white cross on a white horse. The sign read, "This is KKK country. Help fight communism and integration." This is what many saw before going to Vietnam to protect the rights of people to free speech.

President Trump, by his recent actions and his previous actions, has demonstrated that he supports racism.

Those people, but especially those politicians, of both sides of the political spectrum need to stand up and condemn these views. Not all people are racists. But, if you remain silent about this, you are enabling the racists to thrive.

So where do you stand?
