Cook County approves tax incentives in Elk Grove, Schaumburg

Cook County commissioners Wednesday approved tax incentives for two businesses in Elk Grove Village and Schaumburg.

The first proposal was a Class 6b tax incentive for Curve Group LLC to expand and occupy the entire facility at 860 Bonnie Lane in Elk Grove Village to design, manufacture and distribute various goods. The project will create five full-time jobs, retain 15 full-time jobs and support 10 construction jobs.

A Class 6b incentive also was approved for Elkay Plastics Co. Inc. to expand its business at 1365-1375 Mitchell Blvd. in Schaumburg for the distribution of flexible packaging for the food service, healthcare and other industrial markets. The project will create five full-time jobs, retain 45 full-time jobs and support 25 construction jobs.
