21 area women executives to be honored today in Elk Grove Village

Twenty-one local women executives will be honored today at the 20th Annual Influential Women in Business awards hosted by the Daily Herald Business Ledger and their sponsoring partners.

Honorees will receive their awards during a luncheon event at Belvedere Banquets in Elk Grove Village.

The awards are presented to outstanding women executives who excel in business, civic and personal arenas and whose businesses are located or have a major presence in suburban Chicago.

The keynote speaker is Rebecca Darr, CEO of WINGS Program Inc.

The honorees will be profiled in the December issue of the Daily Herald Business Ledger.

The awards are presented in partnership with the National Association of Women Business Owners - Chicago Area Chapter. Sponsoring partners are Focus Capital Advisors, B. Gunther & Company Inc., KPMG/Women's PGA Championship and Northern Illinois University College of Business.
