Kiwanis Club of Aurora invite you to 67th Kiwanis Pancake Day

The Aurora and Fox Valley community are invited to the 67th Kiwanis Pancake Day from 7 a.m. to noon Saturday, March 18, at Aurora Central Catholic High School, 1255 N. Edgelawn Drive in Aurora.

The Kiwanis Club of Aurora, now in its 101st year, presents this annual breakfast event to fund their work with children and the community.

Last year, the club served some 1,400 breakfasts.

Similar to other years, Heartland Blood Centers will be taking blood donations from 7:30 to 11:30 a.m., near the gym. Appointments are appreciated, go online to www.heartlandbc.org or email jerry@konen.com. Walk-ins are welcomed. A photo ID is required.

Annually, the Aurora, Illinois Kiwanis Foundation donates $30,000, primarily to Aurora's youth. These donations occur through awarding of Kiwanis scholarships, managed by the Community Foundation of the Fox Valley; subsidies to Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, and baseball teams; help to area youth programs; and the sponsorship of clubs for youth at the elementary, high school and college levels.

Tickets for the breakfast may be purchased from Kiwanis Club of Aurora members with an advance cost of $6 for an individual or $7 at the door. For information, visit www.aurorakiwanis.org.
