Find your inner-child hunting for eggs at STP

Gather some friends and call the sitter-it's the grown ups' turn to hunt for eggs at the Schaumburg Park District.

The Adults Only Flashlight Egg Hunt is set for 7:30-8:30 p.m., March 25, at Schaumburg Tennis Plus, 1416 N. Payne Road. Activities include a trivia competition with prizes for top three teams, followed by the egg hunt. Eggs will be hidden throughout STP in the tennis courts, racquetball courts, fitness center and other locations. Participants should bring flashlights.

Prizes include fitness passes, pool passes, gift certificates, candy and other special treats.

Light appetizers will be available after the hunt at the STP bar and grill. Each participant will receive a free alcoholic beverage. Additional drinks will be available for purchase.

"This is a way to have a fun evening out doing something a little different," said Kathleen Benson, general program supervisor. "Many of the Schaumburg Park District's events are child and family-focused, so for one night, we're making it just about the adults!"

The event is open to ages 21 and older. Cost is $8 for residents and $10 for non-residents. Registration is available until March 24 or until the event is full.
