Spring into action at April dodgeball tournaments

Get ready for ducking, diving and excitement during National Amateur Dodgeball Association Spring Tournaments, presented by Schaumburg Park District.

Tournaments are set for April 1 at The Sport Center, 1141 W. Irving Park road. Check-in is at 9 a.m., with matches starting at 10 a.m. Games are officiated by NADA staff. All players receive a T-shirt. Team prizes are awarded to champions.

"These tournaments can get really intense, especially when you've got two players versus five players," said Derek Radek, athletics supervisor. "You're never out until it's over!"

Youth divisions include grades 4-6, 7-8 and 9-12. Adult divisions include men's, women's and co-rec.

Registration fee is $125 for adult teams and $105 for youth teams. Registration deadline is March 27. Download entry forms at dodgeballusa.net. Completed forms must be returned to Meineke Recreation Center, 220 E. Weathersfield Way, or sent via fax at (847) 985-2461.
