St. Martin's Episcopal Church starts pet ministries

St. Martin's Episcopal Church in Des Plaines will begin offering pet ministries through its Paws in the Pews and Pet Grief and Loss Group. This first of its kind ministry will provide parishioners and others the opportunity to connect with current pets as well as those who have passed on.

Yes, bring your pets into the church. The service will be followed by fellowship time, affectionately called "Water Bowl/Coffee Hour," with tasty treats for both animals and humans. Paws in the Pews will be every third Sunday with upcoming dates as listed: March 19, April 23 (moved due to Easter services), May 21, and June 18.
