Lakeview School is building wall of kindness
Lakeview Elementary School in Hoffman Estates is building a wall of kindness, brick by brick.
Each time someone witnesses a kind act by a student or staff member, they are writing on a "kindness brick," which is presented to the person and added to one of several large red "walls" posted around the school.
Not only have hundreds of bricks already been posted since the kickoff of this new initiative just after winter break, staff also have overheard many conversations about kindness and observed many students reading the bricks.
