Lavelle Law Attorney Accepts Post with Wheeling-Prospect Heights Chamber
Joseph Vito, an attorney at Lavelle Law and a Wheeling resident, has been appointed as Vice-President of the Wheeling-Prospect Heights Chamber of Commerce. Vito and the other members of the new Executive Board were sworn in at the Installation Dinner on January 27th.
Vito, who is also a member of the Wheeling Village Board of Trustees said that community involvement is an important part of both his personal and professional life. “I enjoy being involved and helping shape the vision of an organization whether it is a law firm, the chamber, or village government. One of the reasons I was pleased to join Lavelle Law in 2015 was the very strong commitment of the partners and other attorneys toward this type of involvement.”
With over 300 members, the Wheeling-Prospect Heights Chamber has an active membership, and with several major developments being planned for both communities, the opportunities for new businesses to start, and existing ones to flourish, are very strong according to Vito. “I look forward to the challenges that we have ahead of us and showing how the chamber can have a positive influence on the business community.” Other board members include Michael Looby, President, and Aaron Bastable as Treasurer.
