It's Fall: The Community has come together to rake!
WHO: Volunteers from: Waukegan Township, Valent Bio Sciences, Woodland Middle School, Warren Township High School, St. Gilbert's Youth Group, Zeta Phi Beta Sorority, Waukegan 2 College, Grayslake High School, Sagrado Corazon Youth Group and Menta School are serving the elderly of Northern Lake County with a wonderful service - raking their leaves.
WHEN: the Rake N' Run began in late October and continues through November 20th. This coming Friday Grayslake High School will be raking, Saturday Zeta Phi Beta will be raking and Monday November 20th the Menta group will finish up.
" I'm so thankful to have my leaves raked before the snow comes this is a wonderful service", Ms. Bette Best of Grayslake said.
