Chef Dimitrios Lolis offers Mediterranean cooking class

Chase away the winter chill with some hot recipes at a cooking class from award-winning Chef Dimitros Lolis from 1 to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 3, at St. Charles Episcopal Church, 994 N. Fifth Ave.

Chef Dimitrios is the chef responsible for re-opening the restaurants at Hotel Baker, and he has owned three restaurants in the local area. He will share his recipes and techniques for healthy Mediterranean-inspired cooking, such as souvlaki, fall salad, butternut squash soup, and a poached pear in vanilla-raspberry sauce.

Cost of the class is $30 per person.

You'll enjoy plenty of samples, so bring your appetite and bring a friend!

The church is wheelchair-accessible. All proceeds from this event will support the ministries of St. Charles Episcopal Church, including Hesed House Shelter and Trinity Soup Kitchen.
