Wego Drama to present 'Peter and the Starcatcher'

Find out the story of Peter Pan that you never knew when Wego Drama at West Chicago Community High School performs "Peter and the Starcatcher" as part of its "Live Adventures" themed-season.

Heartwarming, funny and full of adventures, the show begins at 7 p.m. Thursday through Saturday, Nov. 10 to 12, in Weyrauch Auditorium at the school, 326 Joliet St., West Chicago.

"This show is incredible," said Megan Graal, who plays kid Molly the Starcatcher. "It is so funny, yet it moves adults and kids to believe in their ability to fly."

"To play the boy who will be Peter Pan is an absolute dream," Gavin O'Keefe said. "It is compelling to tell how this classic character came to be."

Ricky Gieser plays the pirate that will become Captain Hook.

"Kids, adults, everyone will enjoy it," he said. "Adults will get some of the additional jokes and references. Kids will love the silliness to the adventure. Simply, it is the perfect evening of family entertainment."

Tickets, $5 for students and $8 for adults, are available at wegotheatre.com and at the door.
