St. Charles Golden K Kiwanis hold installation banquet

The St. Charles Golden K Kiwanis Club installed new officers and board members for 2016-17 at the 15th annual installation banquet Sept. 15 at the Dunham Woods Riding Club in Wayne.

Many thanks to Division 10 Lt. Governor Karen Maki for officiating the retirement/installation of the club's officers and board members for the old and new fiscal years.

Toni de Cola was honored as Kiwanian of the Year for her countless volunteer hours on many club services and projects.

The Kiwanis is an international service organization that locally supports numerous youth and children's programs including Key Clubs at high schools, and an international program to eliminate iodine deficiency syndrome in children.

The club meets at 9:30 a.m. on the first and third Thursdays of each month at St. John Neumann Catholic Church, 2900 E. Main St. in St. Charles.

They are seeking new members to join them in achieving the club's service goals and to help with making a difference in the community.
