Wheeling man charged in Mount Prospect home invasion

A Wheeling man has been charged with multiple felonies after he broke into his ex-girlfriend's home and attempted to strangle her, police said. Javier Noveron, 19, is charged with two counts of home invasion, one count of aggravated domestic battery and one count of robbery stemming from an altercation at a Mount Prospect home Monday afternoon, according to police.
