Officials ID Bartlett woman killed in crash
Authorities have identified the 54-year-old Bartlett woman who died Saturday in a motorcycle crash on Route 20 on Elgin's west side.
An autopsy performed Tuesday determined Susan Desensi died of head injuries, according to the Kane County coroner's office.
Desensi was riding on the back of the motorcycle late Saturday morning when its driver, a 56-year-old man, swerved to avoid a car turning from Highland Woods Boulevard onto Route 20. The motorcyclist lost control, Elgin police said.
