Animal Quest comes to Lords Park Zoo July 10

The Friends of Lords Park Zoo will welcome Animal Quest at 2 p.m. Sunday, July 10, at the zoo, 1325 Hiawatha Drive on Elgin's east side.

Have you ever heard of a Patagonian cavy? What about a white-nosed coatimundi? Well, the experts at Animal Quest will be coming to the Lords Park Zoo - along with their animal friends - to teach you all about these otherworldly creatures. The guest list also may include a Red Tegu, Burmese python, tarantula, Flemish giant rabbit, Chinese water dragon, Sulcata tortoise, micro piglet and giant bullfrog. This is a free program; no registration is required.

For more information, call (847) 741-6655 or visit the website at www.elginpublicmuseum.org. Follow Lords Park Zoo on Facebook or Twitter.
