Go Active with Ronald McDonald at Campanelli Healthy Kids Day

On Saturday, April 30, Ronald McDonald made a special appearance at Healthy Kids Day for the Campanelli YMCA in Schaumburg. Ronald played Ronald Says, one minute to move it and performed some magic for all the kids in attendance.

The local Bear Family McDonald's was thrilled to be a part of this event. The Bear Family had a table at the event where families were able to have some Apple Slices and learn about all the wonderful things that McDonald's is doing with their Happy Meals. Many families were thrilled to learn that since 2012 McDonald's USA has served more that 1.5 billion packages of apples slices in kids' meals. Many of the moms, were also happy to hear that 232 million Go-GURT tubes were served across all McDonald's USA's restaurants from June 2012 to October 2015 and that the Go-GURT only has 6g of sugar, while the leading kids' yogurt has 9g. Also, here in the U.S. McDonald's is committed to only promoting milk, juice and water as beverage options in our Happy Meals.

Cutie Pies, Neel Patel and Isabella Bianchini were Ronald's little helpers for some magic performed during the show.
