Financial Peace University to Be Offered in Rolling Meadows Starting May 11

Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University (FPU) will be held at the BMO Harris Bank, 3225 Kirchoff Road, Rolling Meadows at 7 p.m. on Wednesdays from May 11 through July 6. FPU incorporates video teaching, live class discussions and interactive small group activities as well as humor, financial advice and scripture. The average FPU participant pays off $5,300 in debt and saves $2,700 in the first 90 days. FPU is about more than debt however; it's about money management, plus spending and saving wisely.

Sofie Martin, a BMO Harris Bank treasury and payment solutions sales associate will facilitate this session of FPU. By day, she assists businesses in making educated decisions on how to effectively manage their cash flow. And for nine weeks this summer, she'll be working with individuals and couples to help them effectively manage their money.

Martin says, "I am honored to lead the Dave Ramsey's Financial Peace University course beginning this May. I am excited to pass along this enthusiasm and knowledge that I gained throughout my own nine weeks taking FPU. I look forward to meeting everyone and walking through this journey with them!"

The program is made up of 9 life-changing video lessons taught by Dave Ramsey in a fun and entertaining way.

"I like to put the cookies on the shelf where everyone can reach them," says Ramsey. After each lesson the group meets to help each other plan budgets, discuss successes and temptations, and support each other in their journey to beat debt and build wealth.

Space is limited. FPU class materials cost $93, but spouses may share one set.
